We’re looking for an organised and confident Employer Engagement Officer to build and maintain strong links between the College and local employers. This role supports students in gaining meaningful work experience and industry placements, helping to develop their employability skills and prepare them for the workplace.

What you’ll do:

  • Engage with local employers to create work experience and T-Level placement opportunities
  • Build and maintain sustainable employer relationships across multiple sectors
  • Match students with suitable placements and support them throughout their experience
  • Ensure placements meet Health & Safety, safeguarding, and compliance requirements
  • Work with curriculum teams to support employability events, talks, and career activities
  • Track, monitor and report on placement activity and employer engagement outcomes

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum Level 2 English and Maths (or willingness to achieve within set timeframe)
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience engaging with employers or external partners in a similar role
  • Excellent organisational skills and confidence using Microsoft Office
  • Full, clean driving licence and flexibility to travel locally for employer visits
