Join our team as a Student Engagement and Wellbeing Coach

Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers and thrive both academically and personally? We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Student Wellbeing & Engagement Coach to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will support students through recurring challenges by delivering therapeutic interventions and personalised support that promotes mental health, wellbeing and academic success.

This role focuses on delivering a student-centred, trauma-informed support service that helps learners achieve their full potential. You will provide one-to-one, drop-in, and group-based wellbeing support, working closely with students, staff, families, and external agencies to foster resilience, retention, and positive outcomes. From managing a diverse caseload to operating wellbeing spaces and contributing to key college processes, your impact will be broad and deeply meaningful.

  • Ideally you will have experience working with young people in an educational or mental health setting and have a strong understanding of mental health challenges and trauma-informed practice.
  • You will need to work independently, manage a diverse caseload, and respond to crisis situations.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and referral pathways, including CaMHS and local support agencies.
  • Relevant qualification(s) in mental health, counselling, social work, youth work, or similar (desirable).
