We’re looking for a proactive and organised Community Sports Officer to help manage and promote our Sports Centre and All-Weather Pitch facilities. You’ll play a key role in developing community football programmes, managing lettings, and supporting enrichment activities for students and local users.
What you’ll do:
Promote and manage the All-Weather Pitch and Sports Centre facilities
Act as main contact for community users, clubs, and partners
Coordinate leagues, events, and sports development programmes
Support enrichment activities and fitness suite inductions
Oversee bookings, finances, and administration for facility lettings
Lead and organise casual staff rotas and timesheets
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and facility upkeep
Carry out keyholder, security, and maintenance duties as required
What we’re looking for:
Level 3 qualification in Sport or Business Studies (or equivalent)
FA Level 1 in Coaching Football (minimum)
Experience in facility operations, customer service, or sports development
Confident communicator with good IT and social media skills
Flexible and well-organised — some evening and weekend work required
First Aid and Fitness Instructor qualifications are desirable
