We are looking for a Tutor to deliver on Project SEARCH, a life-changing programme based at Great Western Hospital that supports young adults with additional needs (18-25) into meaningful employment.


You'll be the guiding force behind a small group of interns, helping them build confidence, gain employability skills and thrive in real workplace settings. From delivering tailored maths and English sesisons to setting inspiring goals and supporting job placements, you'll be there every step of the way. You will be based at Great Western Hospital, be part of a team that's supportive, collaborative and full of heart and help young people take their first steps into employment.


You will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons that blend functional skills with real-world reflection
  • Support learners in their hospital placements and help them shine
  • Work closely with employers like Amazon, Swindon Borough Council and GWH to create opportunities
  • Use Systematic Instruction to coach learners in the workplace
  • Build strong relationships with students, families and professionals
  • Champion equality, inclusion and empowerment


You will need:

  • A teaching qualification (Level 4 or above) and a SEND specialism
  • A heart for inclusive education and a head for planning and progress tracking
  • Confidence in delivering Maths and English in creative, accessible ways
  • Empathy, patience and a genuine passion for helping others succeed
